Since primary measures cannot achieve sufficient emission reduction, additional cleaning facilities have to be installed. This book compiles thirteen chapters about the aspects involved in the treatment of these emissions. In addition to the existing and planned emission regulations governing waste incineration in Spain and the EU member states, the fundamentals of adsorption for emission reduction and the more recent developments of waste gas cleaning processes, are discussed.
